1/2 cup shortning
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1tsp vanilla
2 1/2 flour
1tsp soda
1/2tsp salt
1/4tsp nutmeg
1/2cup sour cream
Preheat oven at 325. Mix shortneing, sugar, egg, and vanilla. In a large bowl blend all dry ingredients together. Add to sugar mixture alternatively with sour cream. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes
